Lobster Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients for Lobster Macaroni and Cheese Recipe

  • 1 pound lobster meat
  • 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil
  • 1 pound macaroni, cooked
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup white onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup vegetable stock
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups sharp shredded Cheddar
  • Salt
  • White pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs, optional


  1. Heat the grapeseed oil in a frying pan and add lobster. Cook, stirring, until cooked through. Set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and add onion and garlic and cook until tender.
  3. Add the flour, a tablespoon at a time, until enough is added to make a thin paste consistency.
  4. Add the stock a bit at time, stirring.
  5. Bring to a simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Add the heavy cream, cheese, and salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add the lobster meat and macaroni and heat through.
  8. Add optional breadcrumbs and cook until toasted.
  9. Top with chives and serve.
