Ingredients for German Pancakes Recipe
- 1 l/2 cups flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 5 eggs
- Pinch of salt
- Make a smooth paste with the milk, sugar, salt and flour.
- Break in the 5 eggs one at a time, stirring constantly.
- Beat well.
- Heat a good sized frying pan and grease well.
- Put about 6 tablespoons of the mixture in the frying pan.
- Put frying pan in a hot oven.
- Cook until brown and puffed.
- Serve warm with jelly, sugar and slices of lemon.
