Ingredients for Cream Rice Pudding Recipe

  • 1/3 cup rice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 quart milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg


  1. Heat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Wash the rice thoroughly, add the other ingredients and pour into a greased baking dish.
  3. Bake for three hours, stirring several times during the first hour.
  4. The mixture should not boil.
  5. Serve either hot or cold.
  6. One-half cup of raisins may be added, if desired.
