Ingredients for German Pancakes Recipe

  • 1 l/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Make a smooth paste with the milk, sugar, salt and flour.
  2. Break in the 5 eggs one at a time, stirring constantly.
  3. Beat well.
  4. Heat a good sized frying pan and grease well.
  5. Put about 6 tablespoons of the mixture in the frying pan.
  6. Put frying pan in a hot oven.
  7. Cook until brown and puffed.
  8. Serve warm with jelly, sugar and slices of lemon.
