Ingredients for Coconut Tea Cake Recipe

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • Flavoring extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix the eggs with the milk, sugar and flavoring extract.
  2. Beat well until light.
  3. Mix together flour, salt, baking powder and shredded coconut.
  4. Add slowly to the egg mixture, beating constantly.
  5. Bake in cake tin in moderate oven for about 45 minutes.
