Ingredients for Chicken With Veal And Turnips Recipe

  • 1 chicken (broiler), cut in pieces
  • 1½ pounds veal, leg or breast, cut in pieces
  • 5 turnips, medium size, peeled, sliced
  • 1 onion, peeled, sliced
  • 1 cup milk
  • Water
  • Seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a kettle or Dutch oven and add enough water to cover.
  2. Place cover on kettle and let cook for about 35 minutes.
  3. Serve.
