Ingredients for Chicken With Veal And Turnips Recipe
- 1 chicken (broiler), cut in pieces
- 1½ pounds veal, leg or breast, cut in pieces
- 5 turnips, medium size, peeled, sliced
- 1 onion, peeled, sliced
- 1 cup milk
- Seasonings to taste
- Put all ingredients in a kettle or Dutch oven and add enough water to cover.
- Place cover on kettle and let cook for about 35 minutes.
